Every summer, millions of pairs of birds fly to this tiny island as a breeding location, also as a resting spot on their migration route. And many species live on this island. I felt a “Hidden world”, such as I’ve never seen. I just realized that this tiny island was a paradise of the birds of the earth..
Overview
Faroe island is a self governing archipelago, and a part of the kingdom of Denmark. It comprises 18 volcanic islands, between Iceland and Norway in the North Atlantic Ocean, connected by road tunnels, ferries, causeways and bridges. Hikers and birdwatchers fascinated to the island’s mountains, valleys, grassy heathlands, and steep coastal cliffs that harbor thousands of seabirds.
